The article comments about a recent Nature publication around semaglutide and longevity. Collectively it is a good article and notes the strengths of the study. there is a brief reference at the end of the frustration that the data is not there yet to confirm if these drugs are indeed longevity drugs. A limitation of the paper is not mentioned however. This study was carried out in female mice only and only one strain (C57Bl/6). It is uncertain whether the effects of semaglutide in this paper would translate across multiple strains to better translate to the heterogenous population that currently take GLP-1 medications.

The article is otherwise clear, interesting and gets the point of the paper across.
