This article presented a potentially revolutionary idea that is developing in the field rather than making bold claims. Presenting different lines of evidence that builds up nicely to support the hypothesis. Its tone maintains a level of skepticism that gives it a good balance. It is well written and clear, targeted for an audience with a keen interest in Science and the brain.

Researchers Identify a New 'Severe' Type of ADHD That Makes Kids Feel Like 'Simmering Volcanoes'

Using the analogy of simmering volcanos, this article appears to have somewhat exaggerated the scientific findings by putting a stronger emphasis on the severity over the combined nature of this biotype. As many neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD is known for its heterogeneous traits which makes the existance of a combined type much less surprising than it sounds. This article has also not taken into account limitations of the study related to cohort bias, which the orginal article has asknolwedged.

Balanced article covering the potential of this method and new knowledge but at the same time state clearly the correlative aspect of the findings at this initial stage.
